Medicare

Re-Enrollment Period: Oct 15 - Dec 7 Every Year

Primarily, Medicare is a senior health insurance provided by the U.S. government for people who have turned 65 years of age, have paid Medicare TAX for the past 10 years, and have lived in the United States for more than 5 years.

Medicare consists of Part A (hospital benefits) and B (doctor benefits) and usually starts from the 65th birthday month.

Please note: If Part A comes out automatically, B must apply on its own. And you must prepare drug insurance (Part D) within 3 months before or after your birthday month.

If you do not get Part B and drug coverage in a timely manner, you will have to pay a fine. Be sure to consult with Ace Insurance when enrolling in Medicare.

ObamaCare: PPACA

Re-Enrollment Period: Nov 1st to Dec 15 Every Year

ObamaCare, which started in 2014, is either free or government subsidy based on the number of families and the family’s gross income.

Such PPACA (Patient Protection Affordable Care Act)

Federal Poverty Index: Up to 138% of the state plan Medicare Apple Health Plan is eligible.

From 138% or more to 400%, government subsidies are set.

Over 400%, 100% of the insurance premium must be paid by the person himself without government subsidies.

In addition, if you are eligible for membership and do not subscribe to regular medical insurance, you will be fined according to the number of family members.
